Frequently Asked Questions

Important information about billing, insurance, and policies

Direct Billing

Direct billing is not offered. A receipt of service will be provided to you at the end of every session. It is the client's responsibility to clarify insurance coverage and file appropriately. Payment is always due at the end of your session, and only credit cards on file will be accepted.

Insurance Information

Services can be covered under health insurance plans that cover the services of a Registered Psychotherapist. Please call your insurance provider beforehand and clarify if your plan or plans cover a Psychotherapist.

It might be helpful to ask your insurance provider the following:

  • Are there specific credentials my therapist must have to cover the therapist's fees?
  • How much coverage do I have for Psychotherapy services? This could be in a dollar amount or a total number of sessions.
  • Is a referral required to gain coverage?

Cancellation Policy

If you should need to cancel your scheduled therapy session, 24 hours notice is required. If no notice is given 24 hours prior, the client will be charged for the full session.

Therapists offer a grace period of 15 minutes if you are running late; please be respectful of your therapist's time by letting them know if you're late or not attending the session.

Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations to avoid being charged.
